Toledo is a UNESCO World Heritage site, which speaks volumes about this remarkable, historic city. This special excursion from Madrid will make sure you get to experience it. First, you’ll choose between a ½ day, full day, or full day with lunch. You’ll leave Madrid with a guide in a luxurious air-conditioned bus with panoramic windows. After a scenic hour-long ride, you’ll arrive in Toledo. You’ll see the distinctive blend of Arab, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture that could only be found in one of Europe’s oldest settlements. You’ll stop at places all over town, including the 13th century Primate Cathedral- a Gothic wonder, the Church of St. Tome- home to El Greco’s masterpiece “The Burial of Count Orgaz” and the Synagogue of Ste. Maria La Blanca, founded in 1203.

    • Choice of Half Day Excursion or Full Day Excursion with or without lunch.
    • Fully escorted and guided panoramic sightseeing tour of Toledo in a luxury air-conditioned motor coach.
    • Tour departs from Madrid and arrives 1 hour later in Toledo.

Conditions:

    • Tour will depart and return to Julia Travel located at Plaza de Espana, 7. Madrid.
    • Travelers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their tour departure and present their Rail Europe Voucher upon arrival.
    • Full Day Tours depart at 9:45am and last approximately 8 hours. 
      • Full Day Tour that includes lunch will be served at Monte-Rey Restaurant (beverages are extra).
      • Full day Tour without  lunch will allow free time for travelers to purchase lunch.
    • 1/2 Day Tours depart at 8:45am & 1:00pm and last approximately 5 hours.
    • Tours do not operate on January 1, May 1, December 24, 25, & 31.

What sights will I see on my Excursion to Toledo?
